Wow. I've seen Gothika, but I didn't realize it had Zack O'Toole...I'm not sure if I was a QaF fan when I saw it though.
I picked hazel for Brian's eyes because hazel is the color I associate most with eyes that change colors, which his seem to do.
I hadn't seen it till today, my brother happened to be watching it. He's a cop, the one that catches her in her house, when she goes down through the trapdoor or whatever. (I wasn't really watching, I just heard a familiar voice, looked up, and there he was.)
No comment. :)
:D You'll have to share your thoughts later...
Oh, I shall. It's frustrating not to say anything, because I have a very definite opinion on it.
I chose hazel because I think it's what defines the color of Brian's eyes the best. Depending on the light, the color seems to change from brown to green.
Just FYI....I changed the color of his eyes in that icon you're using. I made them more green. Same thing with my icon here. I LOVE green eyes and he looks so good with them! :D
I do agree that depending on the lighting they do tend to change color. My husband's eyes do the same thing.
It really depend on the lighting because in s1 his eyes sometimes look very green and in s5 for example they almost always look brown to me.
I love what you did with that icon, great idea, and yes green eyes are the perfect color for him. :)
woah! I just took that icon a bit ago and I *thought* something looked different about his eyes, but I would have never realized you'd made them greener. Very cool...
I read an icon tutorial about changing the color of eyes so I tried it. I was surprised it came out looking so good!
Combine his beauty and your skill and there's nothing *FINER* on earth than Brian Kinney. *nods seriously*
THey are Hazel, like mine, depending on what the light is like they change between brown/light brown/green. Also, sometimes depending on the mood...I swear when I am drunk my eyes look more green!
Chiming in as another hazel eyed girl. Brian's eyes are hazel. Please please don't tell me they are not. Brian and I have a mystical matching eye color bond that I would hate to have to defend...
*snort giggle snort*
...and what beautiful eyes they are,lol
To me they are hazel.
I saw "Gothika" long before I saw qaf and no way would I remember that. Now I'll have to go back and watch it. I saw Hobbes and Tracy in "Lars and the Real Girl". I watched that last night.
I thought Gothika was both disturbing and a little annoying. I haven't seen it in a while and I don't remember everything about it but I do remember most of the main plot points.
I'll have to go through your IJ to find out what you haven't posted about yet. I'll come back later and do that. I have to go to Home Depot right now and buy some marigolds :)
I've never even heard of "Lars and the Real Girl." :)
The bits I paid attention to were kinda freaky. I got really suspicious of the Sheriff or whatever the guy was, so I told my brother "He did it." Naturally he was annoyed with me when it turned out I was right. Or maybe it just looked like I was right for a couple of minutes...like I said, wasn't really watching.
Marigolds, hmm? They're so very pretty. Anyway, there's a lot I haven't posted about yet, mostly because I've only been using this journal for all of a month and a half. Have at me.
Definitely hazel. That's what got my vote.
As for the blogging - let's see. How about telling us something about how you spend your free time when you're not doing something QaF related. Or what are your three favorite foods and why.
His eyes are hazel. They do tend more towards the green, I've seen them go a little darker, towards brown, but that's what hazel eyes do. They cahnge color.
i started watching the l word about a month ago and am currently half way through s2. that tells you how much i like it, lol. in a month i'd finished ALL of qaf.
it's entertaining, but i don't love it in at all the same way that i love qaf. for starters, there is no OTP on that show for me to be passionate about. and there is not as much humor...and and it's just NOT qaf. but it's alright.
and the song thing! i completely agree! i just about died, and not in a good way, when i heard lover's spit on that show. i never want to think of that song in any other way then with visions of 308 in my head :D

Re: the l word
I'm zooming through it, but not because I really like it. I just tend to go at things full speed ahead, especially when I'm trying to procrastinate about school work...I'm on 208 now, and I started maybe Wednesday night?
I definitely don't love it. It's alright as a pastime, but you're right, there's not as much humor, we have no OTP, and yeah. It lacks something. And of course, there's my issue with it, which is that they seem to be trying to make the show embody everything I don't like about women. The cattiness, self-deprecation, constant personal drama, and so and so forth. The only character that I've yet to have cause to dislike is Shane, but I see so much of Brian in her that's probably no surprise.
I tried to ignore it. It actually kind of offends me in a way, because that song is the happy reunion song and here they go using it when Bette's having a one-night-stand. Ugh.
